Should an AI ever talk about your availability?
We think no, and we've built the whole product around that answer. Here's the reasoning, so you can decide whether you agree.
An AI that speaks about your calendar can be wrong about your calendar
Availability moves hour to hour in July. Anything that isn't reading your live book in real time is quoting a snapshot — and a caller told "yes, we have a spot" who arrives to find you full is a worse outcome than voicemail.
The alternative isn't losing the booking
An availability question becomes a complete brief — dates, rig size, hookups, party size, callback — texted to your desk. Your staff check the book and close it with one message. You lose nothing except the risk.
It's what makes no-integration possible
Once you refuse to speak about availability, you no longer need to connect to anything. That's why RV Ring works identically on Campground Master, a spreadsheet, or a paper book — the parks nobody else can serve.
Where the other view is reasonable
If your occupancy is stable and you're comfortable with an AI quoting from a synced snapshot, a system that answers availability outright will close some calls ours hands to your desk. That's a real advantage, and if you want it, take it.
