Comparison

RV Ring vs Insider Perks.

Insider Perks is a real company doing real work in outdoor hospitality, and for some parks they're the better answer. Here's the honest version of where each one fits — including where they beat us.

The short version. Insider Perks meters you at $3 a call and its flagship is a live Campspot integration that books the site itself. RV Ring is $499 a month flat, needs no software whatsoever, and deliberately never touches your calendar. If you're on Campspot and you want the AI to close bookings unattended, take Insider Perks. If you're one of the thousands of independent parks running Campground Master, a spreadsheet or a paper book — the integration has nothing to plug into, and that's who we built for.

Being straight with you

Where Insider Perks is the better call.

You run Campspot and want hands-off booking

Their AI checks live availability and completes the reservation end to end. We don't do that and we're not going to — but if that's genuinely what you want, they've built it and we haven't.

Your phone barely rings

At 40 calls a month, $3 a call is about $120 — cheaper than our flat rate. Metered pricing genuinely wins at low volume. It's the July invoice you want to think about before signing.

You want one vendor for everything

They do chatbots, marketing, websites and SEO alongside the phone. We do the phone. If consolidating vendors matters more to you than depth on one, that's a fair reason to pick them.

The case for us

Where RV Ring is the better call.

You have nothing to integrate with

Campground Master, a spreadsheet, a paper book, or no system at all. Roughly three quarters of American parks are independent mom-and-pops, and a great many of them are exactly here. An integration-first product has nothing to connect to; we don't need one.

You want a bill you can forecast

Seasonal businesses hate variable costs in peak month. Flat pricing means the month you get the most out of it is not the month you get the biggest invoice.

You want your calendar left alone

Nothing writes to your book. No AI can double-book you, no card details are taken by phone, and a person on your team makes every real decision. We think that's the right trade for an independent park; you may disagree, and that's a fine reason to choose differently.

You want one accountable person

You get the founder's cell, not a support portal. When something's wrong at 7 a.m. on a Saturday in July, you're texting the person who built it.

Our homework

Where these facts came from.

  • Everything above about Insider Perks comes from their own public materials and from trade coverage in Woodall's Campground Magazine and Modern Campground, checked July 2026.
  • The $3-per-call figure and the Campspot integration are both from their public announcements. We have not been given access to their product.
  • Volume-based cost figures are simple arithmetic on that published rate, not quotes from Insider Perks.
  • If we've got anything wrong or out of date, tell us and we'll correct it. hello@rvring.com

Don't decide from a table. Call them both.

Ours is answering right now — the same system your park would get. Ask it what your guests ask.
